We’re Here To Stay

I moved to Utah for grad school and never moved away. I’ve now been here for 11 years and up until recently, don’t seem to have made any progress in my living situation.

Last spring my wife and I were looking out over our yard behind the home we bought 2 years after I finished school. We realized then that we have been perpetually living like students, never living as though we ever intended to put down roots here.
We began to put things together when a neighbor asked us where we were headed next. We told him that we had no plans to go anywhere, that this was our home. Looking around our yard that spring evening we recognized that something needed to be done to make us seem more permanent, to make us feel more grown up.

We’d always cared for our yard; we weren’t slobs, but our lawn did lack a sense of completeness. And, it was then that what we really needed was a fence, but I hate the idea of a chain link fence so we decided on a vinyl fence. In Utah we noticed that people are fairly neighborly and we didn’t want to seem antisocial, so what we did was install a simple decorative fence with an arbor leading onto our neighbors property. My good friend next door was thrilled at the improvement to both of our yards and decided to finish his property in the same style. Fencing can be expensive, but Vinyl Industries has made it very affordable to get a vinyl fence in Utah.

They produce all of their own materials in house, cutting out the middleman and passing on savings to the homeowner.
